MICHAEL DUFFEY

Mike Duffey brings 16 years of experience at the crossroads of national security, technology, and federal budgets, serving under two Presidents in the White House and seven Secretaries of Defense over 14 years in the Pentagon.

As the Program Associate Director for National Security at the White House Office of Management and Budget, Mike managed $1 trillion of the federal budget and led budgeting and program execution oversight for the Departments of Defense, Veterans Affairs, State, the Central Intelligence Agency, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, National Nuclear Security Administration, U.S. Trade Representative, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, International Development Finance Corporation, and Export-Import Bank.
BRIAN McCORMACK

Brian McCormack brings over 25 years of experience working at the federal, state, and local levels across various issue areas.

As the Acting Executive Associate Director and Program Associate Director at the White House Office of Management and Budget, Brian oversaw budget development and implementation for over $2 trillion in spending. While there, his primary areas of responsibility included the Departments of Energy, Agriculture, Interior, NASA, Army Corps of Engineers, and the Environmental Protection Agency. He also led efforts in other agencies, including the Department of Commerce, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Justice, Transportation, and the Treasury. A major initiative under Brian's leadership was to prioritize government efforts to support America's competitiveness in Artificial Intelligence, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, advanced communications networks, and quantum science.
SAMUEL BUCHAN
Senior Director
Sam Buchan brings over a decade of federal and state policy experience, including at the White House, Department of Energy, and State of Ohio.

As Director for International Economic Policy, Energy, and the Environment within the White House National Security Council and National Economic Council, Sam oversaw U.S. engagement and negotiations with international counterparts on critical issues, such as trade, energy and environmental policy, global infrastructure deployment, energy security, and broad-based economic frameworks supporting U.S. national security objectives. Sam also coordinated activities within the G7, G20, and International Energy Agency, and managed engagement within the U.S.-EU Energy Council, the Three Seas Initiative, the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation, and the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Forum, among others. Prior to serving at the White House, Sam served as Senior Advisor to two Secretaries of Energy.
